Now that we've all presumably recovered from Thanksgiving without lapsing into a permanent food coma, I wanted to share a few words. I've always found Thanksgiving to be my favorite holiday, as I think it is the purest. It is a time to celebrate with one's family or friends without any of the distractions of Christmas. The original thanksgiving was thrown by hard working, productive people. After a long year of toiling in their fields, they could harvest the crop and enjoy the fruits of their labors.
At Starlab, we end our fiscal year November 30th. Thus, thanksgiving is very near the end of our year, and it seems an appropriate celebration for 12 months of hard work and triumph.
