The Digital STARLAB Projection System is capable of using Starry Night Small Dome Software as well as playing standard or full dome movies. Starry Night Small Dome Software is included with every purchase of a Digital STARLAB. Starry Night desktop software may be used for desktop teaching, but may also be used to develop content that can be displayed using the Small Dome software. This allows for content to be transferred from PC or Mac desktops into the Digital STARLAB!
Full dome movies can be displayed either through the Small dome Software, or directly off the Digital STARLAB desktop. Science First / STARLAB has partnered with several production companies that have adapted their large planetarium movies to a small dome format.
